Doug Moorhead, PsyD, LLP

Douglas A. Moorhead, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist with a pastor’s heart. He has worked in the field of psychology, Christian faith development, sexual and chemical addictions, marriages, adolescents and adults for over 25 years.

Dr. Moorhead’s extensive training and experience provides a base for addressing faith formation, addictions, depression, anxiety, mental illness, abuse, learning problems, substance abuse, trauma, loss, marital, pre-marital and family issues. He has completed detailed psychological evaluations throughout his career for children and adults that have included school-related assessments as well as forensic or court-related evaluations.

Dr. Moorhead places an emphasis on addressing health from a whole person perspective. An emphasis is placed on understanding the relationship of one’s psychological health to interpersonal relationships, family systems, work environments, school systems, belief systems and court systems. Dr. Moorhead has a Doctorate and a Master’s degree in clinical psychology from Rosemead School of Psychology at Biola University in California with a primary focus on Marriage and adults. He also earned a Master’s of Education degree in Guidance and Counselling from Slippery Rock State University primarily focused on children and adolescents.
