“My husband and I have been going through so many struggles that our marriage was really beginning to fall apart.  After Christmas I found myself thinking of ways I could leave without hurting too many people.  Then I decided that that is not what I really wanted so I prayed to God that he would send someone or something to me to help me and it had to be something I could afford--which basically was nothing, but anyway…So, that very Sunday in our church bulletin, was an ad for Bridge To Life Ministries.  I had never heard of you, but the price was right!!!  I went home and put the bulletin on the counter and told my husband we were going to it.  He tried to rationalize why we didn’t really need to, but I was adamant.  If nothing else, I was looking for something for myself to help build up my self-esteem and help me deal better with my marriage.

When we came on that very first Thursday in January, I was so angry I didn’t want to look at anyone, much less participate in any kind of conversation.  Week after week we went and I could feel my anger leaving.  The classes have helped me with my marriage.  Riding to the pizza place after out last class in March, my husband said he was really going to miss going to these classes.  He really respected your Biblical approach to each and every issue.  Had this not been very Biblically based, I don’t think we would have continued to come.

I was impressed and surprised by his willingness to seek change, to try to work on our marriage …but still very skeptical.  I went …convinced we were separating in April but willing to see if this was God’s way of changing our course of destruction, but not believing it was.
